Hello Everyone,
I'm a newbie trying to extract audio from a digital format -> VOB to FLAC. I was pointed to Pazera and was able to do the extraction, but the formatting of the tracks isn't correct. I currently have 4 x VOB files which I believe contain 14 chapters, each representing a different tune. When I drop the VOBs into Pazera I received 4 FLAC delineated by each VOB files as opposed to the chapters. Is there a way to break this out into individual tracks? I saw something about chapters in the advanced settings, but it was already selected. Any suggestions and/or advice would be appreciated. Thank you !

To split by chapter, use a chapter tool - this one seems to work (I tested it myself)
https://github.com/tautcony/ChapterTool/releases/tag/2.33.33.3331
Run the program and open the IFO file corresponding to the VOB set.
Hit the "save" button and it will create a txt file in the VOB's folder
Then load the first VOB into mkvtoolnix GUI (and it should auto load the rest)
Then select the "output" tab and load the txt file from the utility above @ "chapter file".
Multiplex to an MKV file.
Load the mkv into Pazera and it will save each chapter as an mp4 -
Thank you for the response. Do you know if it can handle if a chapter spans more than one VOB - can i reconcile that.

You could also try DVD Shrink's re-author mode.
Once you open the DVD files and click the re-author button, in the right pane you'll see anything from a single title to several of them, depending on the DVD structure. If the DVD contains several sequentially numbered vob files as a set, DVD Shrink will open them as a single file.
Click the blue edit icon to open editing mode, top right on the left pane. You can edit however you want to, but you can easily pick out individual chapters. You'll have to drag the title you want to edit from the right pane to the left multiple times, assuming it's all in a single title, and then edit each copy down to a single chapter.
When you're done click the Backup button and each chapter will be saved as a pair of ifo and vob files.
If you want to keep the video untouched, in Preferences change the target output size to 50000 MB or something large enough to ensure DVD Shrink won't try to shrink the video.
There's also an option in Preferences you can uncheck to prevent DVD Shrink splitting vob files into 1GB chunks when it's saving the output. It might pay to uncheck it in case an individual chapter requires a vob file larger than 1GB, as you obviously want each chapter as single file.
Once you have the chapters as individual vob files you can open each one with DGIndex.
Under DGIndex's Audio menu, select "Output Method/Demux All Tracks".
The "File/Demux Audio-Only Stream" menu will then extract the audio for you.

Avisynth functions Resize8 Mod - Audio Speed/Meter/Wave - FixBlend.zip - Position.zip
Avisynth/VapourSynth functions CropResize - FrostyBorders - CPreview (Cropping Preview) -
I would first merge all vobs and then do the conversion with chapter splitting with a single source file
