I have a VOB file containing a multichannel (5.1) audio track. I'd like to convert it to FLAC or something similar, so that I can add it to my music collection and play it using my usual audio equipment.
Can anyone advise on how I can extract/convert the 5.1 audio to a suitable audio file format?

  2. You can do both with clever Ffmpeg-GUI, extract (i think it's an ac3 5.1) the audiostream or convert it to flac, eac3, aac, pcm.
