I'm using VirtualDub and I downloaded VirtualDub External for the program. When I try to save the video by mp4, this message appears: Encoder

The simplest way might be to use VirtualDub2 instead. I don't use it for conversion much myself, but I don't think you need to setup external encoders as you did for the original VD, although you still can if you want to.
