Do I have to uninstall the windows firewall or anything. I don't know a whole lot about this part. I was on trendmicro antivirus and webroot spysweeper until my subscriptions expried. A friend of mine told me the free ones are just as good. I have AVG now for the antivirus and use spybot search and destroy, and adaware to scan my computer. I have noticed it finds the same files the trendmicro and spysweeper found (spy cookies mostly) so I guess that part is working ok.

You cannot uninstall the windows firewall, but you can turn it off.
Believing yourself to be secure only takes one cracker to dispel your belief. -
During the installation process, Comodo will ask if you want to turn off the Windows firewall; just check the "yes" box.
