You can
Use Nero to create a VCD (low quality, limited capacity)
Use DivxtoDVD to create a DVD (much better quality, up to three hours to a DVD)
Use a divx capable to dvd player to play the original files from a data DVD.
All of this is covered to some dgree in the guides to your left <-
Just look up the conversion you want and dive in.Read my blog here.

Select VCD in Nero Burning Rom or Nero Vision and add the avi and burn...
Or if you have a dvd writer use instead ConvertXtoDVD and make a DVD from the AVI.
Or if you dvd player supports divx then it might be enought to just burn the avi on a cd / dvd. -
ok so i tried Nero Vision....and my computer went wacko. It didnt burn it. Then i tried ConvertXtoDVD, it did convert it and burn it to the cd. But the problem was that it didnt play on my DVD player....
Thanks though. -
Which DVD player do you have?
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? -
it did convert it and burn it to the cd.
I hope that's a typo. Most DVD players won't play DVD on CD. Of course, some won't even play burned DVDs either. Depends on your player. Hence Ai Haibara's question.
