  1. Hi,

I have a few Divx files that I can convert to a MPEG2 file or .mpa/.mpv but how to I turn these into the set of files that a DVD likes?
I'm expecting to create vob and ifo based files.

    Thanks for any help

    Floob.

Simplest way would be IFOEDIT. It's DVD author option will create the needed ifo and vob files. Just rename your mpv to m2v and use your mpa.
The resolution should be DVD compliant,720x480,704x480,352x480,or352x240.

The benefit of IFOEdit is that it is free too. If you really wanted to be fancy, you could make up a textfile called celltimes.txt an put the frame numbers of where you would like chapters to be created. The only downside to IFOEdit is that you can't create menus.

You could use TMPGEnc DVD Author also which will create menus if you like but you would have to manually define chapters.
    If in doubt, Google it.
