How create menu to Vobs ??

I have a home dvd of family events…wanted to create a menu with some pictures and features. So I ripped the dvd…it came out in Video_TS folder with vobs and IFO files.

Now the experiment started, good grief, I have dvd + rw, I try to burnt again using Nero features but did not succeeded….and if I burn vobs with DvdShrink…it is impossible to create menu and feature .

The question is how could I make menu? And the second question is…how could I add the vobs files in nero? For example in video_ts folder there are 10 files starting form

VIDEO_TS
VTS_01_0 to Vts_01_5
Vts_02_1
Vts_03_1
Vts_04_1

tmpgenc dvd author, ulead dvd moviefactory, ulead dvd workshop, etc can import from dvds and then you make a menu.

if you are looking for free tools you can use guifordvdauthor, but first split the video and audio from the dvd vobs with pgcdemux and import the video and audio files in guifordvdauthor and make the menus.

how could i bring the files in tmpenc dvd author or ulead moviefactory....as i mentioend earlier there are more than 10 files...which file i am looking to insert in that programs. Do i have to insert all 10 files? I do have both programs, tmpenc dvd and ulead movie factory.

I wish to have a family picture in the main manue..than some ft. i did it with some files...but those were avi...this is vob and were try with them but unable.

Baldrick....i tried with Ulead moviefactory, ulead did not recognise vob formate. It is saying "unable to open the files"

thanks...quite information about the files....but one question, it saying

VTS_01_0.IFO = Title 01, IFO, usually the main movie

so what if i only load this file which carries main movie?

so could i load only this file to make dvd? or do i have to load other.

you mean the one file which carries whole movie....or all vobs and ifo files?

Open IfoEdit> pick Create IFOs>Output stream, pick first vob in titleset "VTS_01_1.VOB"... tick OK....
