big VOB file to SVcd

hi i have a 6 gig vob file what do i do with it i like to make it on cd-r's

Well, that is a strange animal. VOB files are usually 1 gig big. However, I'll take a shot.

Let's say you want to create an SVCD from it.

Way #1

- Find a DVD RIP Guide to go from DVD to SVCD. The first step for you needs to be using DVD2AVI. You may be able to open you big file just like it was a set of dvd VOBs.

Way #2

- Demux the mpv and audio (ac3) from the VOB using vobedit.
- Find a Guide to go from MPEG2 to SVCD. Like this one "How to convert to SVCD with TMPGEnc " under convert.
