    The Archos 04 series can play VOBs with the cinema plugin, but the VOBs will not play seamlessly.

    Is there a quick program to join VOB's sequences and create just one without recoding ?

    You can join the main movie vobs using vobmerge. Or get a mpg using VOB2MPG(also no reecoding).

    ...or rip the main title from the DVD with DVDDecrypter, set file splitting to None.

    Thanks guys, they all work a treat.

    Which tool would you recommend to split VOBs without recoding ?
    I just want to preview, mark the split points and wait a few moments for my required segments.

    Can't find anything simple and straight forward.
    I've got a nice big VOB using dvddecrypter and want to transfer it to a FAT32 harddrive, but need to cut it at a point that I choose and create 2GB chunks.
