    Hi,


    I have a Samsung CD-R/RW SW-212B and I'm trying to burn a CD-RW.
    The burning itself goes fine, but when its 100 % and it's finalizing it says: Medium not present, but it just burned stuff on it !

    Can somebody please tell me what this is and what I can do about it ?

    What application are you using to burn? Try a few different apps.

    I'm using Nero, I tried it a couple of times (VCD) and it worked now, but now my DVD player won't read it.

    So, how are you authoring? My DVD player (for one) refuses to play VCDs authored with Nero. Try VCDEasy (1.1.4) instead.

    Just a suggestion have you tried different medium as in changing the brand....and update your firmware on your drive but be carefull with this to install correct up date as it can render your drive non working...
