I've been trying to use the 16x9 video format on a 4:3 disk. The video is mastered in 16x9 (in the info window it reads a 16x9 720x480). I have the video clip marked as 16x9 widescreen in the program. Now when it is burned the menu and the video are being displayed slightly off the screen. I've done this a few times and I can't get what I'm doing wrong.
Would someone please tell me how to create a sucessful 16x9 video on a 4:3 disk in Dvd Studio Pro from scratch, in detail.
A quick answer will not help.

with the 16:9 track selected go to your prop inspector, video section, choose 16:9 letterboxed.
when you build the disc and what on your mac is it widescreen? if yes but not on your set top dvd player then you might need to change the settings on your player to 4:3 letterbox if your tv is 4:3 or 16:9 if your tv is widescreen.pants on, pants off, pants the floor. -
