I've updated my old version 3.0 to 4.0.
my problem is now that i can not get any Mpeg2 file in anymore.
It keeps saying "incompatible format" now matter what i do.
I've tried to convert in different Mpeg's. But it does'nt want to accept it.
Anyone else who had this problem?
Do i need to update to 4.2?

By the way, i'm running a Mac Intel now instead of a PPC.

    Any help would be welcome.

    Two things to ALWAYS remember:

    1. You update Any Apple Quicktime based app, you usually have to update
the Quicktime codecs and plugins as well.

    2. When you cross over from older Chip architecture, to newer
chip architecture, you also need to consider upgrading
other software under the hood as well.

The simple answer to your problem, if you bought the Quicktime
    Mpeg-2 plugin ( US $20) from store.apple.com, you can
simply log back into the store with your Apple ID ,
and re-download the newest version for Intel based macs
    (v. 6.4 and higher had dual installers) from your account,
where a permalink is set in your "Downloaded Purchased Software" pane,
    and you'll be all set.
The Component is necessary for ANY Quicktime based app to be able
to import /recognize Mpeg-2 assets. (iMovie, FCE, FCP, DVD Studio Pro)

If not, then you need to rebuy the QT Mpeg-2 plugin for $20
    from store.apple.com.

    Thank you for the help.
I have a new Mpeg2 component now and is working well...
But, now there is another problem.
I've used to make my DVD menus in 4:3 but now i want to make them in 3:2 widescreen.
My background image (still) is working ok in simulation mode, but....
When i build the DVD i get everything in order except for my background still.
It is build for only 66% and the bottom is missing.
I can see my overlay with the buttons, but a shitty screen.
I've tried a lot of new photoshop documents in different widescreen variety's but nothing works.
Anyone overhere who had the same problems?
Anyone knows how to deal with it?
I've checked the manual but could'nt find anything.
