How about use that Multiplex Container tooltip, so you can see the 15 availabel containers at a glance?

    Select a 3gp, asf, avi, flv, m2ts,

Can you change the order of the IVTC interlacer entries downward like for all others text bases dropdowns, so it's
    none

I've tested the toolstips, but the result is confusing and I don't like it.
The buttons colors will be changed.

Yes, the long tooltips are not ideal.

How about centering the HDR text?

    EDIT:
Could you please move Stay open on the Mux and Join page a little to the left so that the position is identical to the other pages?

How about adding "Rotate 180 degrees" for Rotate & flip?
Because it is not the same as Flip vertically.

  12. When a ts file is encoded into MKV, if -c srt is used, the CC formatting is retained. -c text, on the other hand, removes the CC formatting. It looks like Clever uses -c srt. I prefer -c text.

When you set video options deinterlace or interlace and change the encoder, both settings are deactivated.
    Is that intentional?

  16. I extracted a subtitle track from a .ts video, used Sub Title Edit to make sure it is timed with the video, and played the video with the external subtitle with VLC, Potplayer, and MPV player. It worked the way it should.

Muxed the video and the subtitle with Clever to MKV. The subtitle and the video are out of timing in the output file.

Muxed the same video and subtitle with MKVToolnix. Everything works the way it should.

This happens because ts video often has large video offsets.
clever FFpmeg-GUI resets these offsets to 0 during muxing.
This also resets the timing of any existing subtitles, keeping them synchronized.
However, if you have extracted the subtitles beforehand, the subtitle times from the original ts file will no longer be synchronized with the reset video stream.

  22. Dear ProWo,

I likely did something wrong, but I wish to ask you.

I used clever FFmpeg-GUI to convert AAC audio to AC3 and then remuxed it with the original video to convert from .mp4 to .m2ts file.
The m2ts file plays okay, but it shows up as variable bit rate when viewed with MediaInfo.
    Is this normal?

Below see original and converted file output from MediaInfo.

    Thanks.

Could be that the original mp4 isn't really constant framerate all the length.
To fix this, remux it to mkv first and remux then this new mkv (select the videostream only) with the ac3 audio to m2ts.

Unfortunately, all it seemed to do is double the bit rate.

A simple remux cannot double the bitrate.
This is further proof that something is wrong with the mp4 video stream.
Try the fix timestamps option (lossless changes) with this mp4.
Then mux the fixed videostream with your ac3 to m2ts.

  26. The bitrate doubling was a user error on my part.
I had accidently set the CRF to 18.

I tried doing fix timestamp on original file.
    Resulting m2ts still variable fps.

I tried converting the timestamp fixed file to mkv then remux.
Still variable m2ts and was very stuttery result.

Here are media info files. Maybe going from mp4 to m2ts just always results in variable fps?
