Is the top url the original source, and the bottom url the downloadable source? If so, what are the keys in the middle?

Well, you need to start learning stuff.
Since you want ITV in HD then your best bet is probably to setup Devine on your PC, made by some awesome folks and our beloved @stabbedbybrick

You can find the thread of Devine in the sticky threads, but I'm not sure how helpful it will be for you.
On the other hand, there's a great (somewhat easy to follow) guide posted by user @SaintyUK that you can find here
