Bootloader unlocked? Device rooted? It's possible unlocking your bootloader on certain devices will disable l1 drm encryption leaving only l3.
You may have to find a different way of accessing low level run functions on android without such actions. Possibly emulation with the right tools on a pc might help.

if you're after l1 using this method, you'll be lucky. It was removed from your device when you unlocked your bootloader. *some device manufacturers my play nice but others won't.

I have two questions regarding this:
1) I used the lenovo x705f CDM posted earlier, there are only two files contained but the third file device_vmp_blob is missing. How can I get this file?
2) Beside the missing file, is there any other reason for the error message above? Or is the CDM just dead?

The cause of the error above is the following code from lines 222 and 245 (both are identical) of CDM.cs:

RequestTime = uint.Parse((DateTime.Now - DateTime.UnixEpoch).TotalSeconds.ToString().Split(".")[0]),

The conversion from double to string is reliant on the use of the dot (".") as decimal separator to discard the fractional part. Since the app doesn't set a Culture, some locations use a comma (",") as decimal separator instead, making the .Split(".") call return a single-element array with the same unaltered number, failing to discard the fracional part and the separator character. I had the same error, changed to comma, changed the cdm to the Lenovo, added the headers in lines 21 an 27 of Tests.cs and got the program to work.

Just to add to this, I know it has to do with a key (I have) and then it has to be hmac'ed and sent with each request.

The key part was pretty simple (at least with Frida) but the issue now is sending that key as hmac over to the license server. Not being a Python-man (more of a network man), this is where I got stuck.
