I just have to say this as "clearly, succinctly and professionally" as I can, it takes a giant set of steel balls to claim copyright to a copy of an image that is in the public domain:

That is NOT the image. Your file is a PD photograph. My image is in reverence of him, but it is a completely original abstracted design by me. If his estate would like to argue that, or they ask me to not use it, I certainly would remove it out of respect. But my work should be respected as well.

Are you for real? You copied an image of a celebrity that's in the public domain. Any derivative work by definition is also in the public domain.
You know what you remind me of? I was staying in a hotel and decided to check out the copy of the Gideon Bible that seems to be in every hotel room and I was shocked to see that the book actually had a copyright notice.
So i checked, and sure enough, every bible printed in the U.S., every Koran printed in the U.S., my copy of Principia Mathematica, my copies of the reproductions in the original Greek of the works of Archimedes, Euclid and others and they actually have a copyright notice.
Imagine claiming copyright to Genesis, Archimedes Principle of Exhaustion or The Law of Universal Gravitation!
Yet there are people that try.
Your claims are just as absurd.Last edited by sophisticles; 7th Oct 2021 at 21:25.

I already said, the sensor of DSLRs and mirrorless are not fit for video. That's why their sensor are not able to fulfill the 4K IMA tests in sufficent degree. IMA tests tell everything.
I won't buy still camera just to take some nice photos, and their sensor suck in 4K video (loss of details due tothe stressed denoising attempts of the still camera. Videocameras rulez.Last edited by Truthler; 8th Oct 2021 at 07:23.

^^ Do you have a life beyond these trolling-inspired posts ?
I must ask this since you appear on-line in this forum 24/7 whereas others (even myself who has little to do during the day but to read the nonsense that you typically spew out) have more normal things to do.
You were asked some on-topic posts ago to provide the actual settings and not some screen-grabs that others may not be able to read - the ones supplied are hardly clear (well for me they are not)
And these setting are critical to prove your al-ready determined assertation.
Subtley, your whole topic is a mess. You made an original statement disguised as a question. Whereas you had already determined the answer.
And while I am at it.....
I guess your camera can not natively record at UT lossless. So that initself is a reencode.
And there is no point in uploading your result as lossless. If you do not understand this I suggest to read. it has been explained here more tan once.
And allow me to add another level. Whereas Scott may have over-reacted to your image you somewhat had a purpose in creating that which has no validity in either the past or present time. What, indeed, was your purpose in adding color to the head of Groucho ?
You had already made a baseless assertion that Scott, amongst others, views with glasses. But to confound your tirade with your image speaks highly of your opinion of other, more qualified, members than you.

At least 10-15 webpages are open in OPERA mobile browser on my Telephone, So I always seem "online".
Every camera with HDMI output can record lossless video, and with lossless compressors with this simple trick:
You must also have a good SSD in your laptop, which does not lose its performance during the recording. Many SSD-s works really fast until some minutes....
I use WD SSDs, they don't drope their performance.Last edited by Truthler; 8th Oct 2021 at 11:15.

See also: "Digital will never replace film! (or tape)". How'd that work out?
That's why their sensor are not able to fulfill the 4K IMA tests in sufficent degree. IMA tests tell everything.
If you think that, you're not very informed.
Look at the still ISO performance here: https://photographylife.com/reviews/nikon-z6-ii/4
Video is comparable.
It's amazing how high ISOs have come. I still remember having to push 800 film to reach grainy 3200. Now we have 3200 that looks like low ISO slide film. Something shot at a whopping ISO 12800 would only need minimal denoise.
... and we're back to batshit crazy again.
their sensor suck in 4K video ... Videocameras rulez.
Some tools are good, some not:
Avisynth = excellent, NeatVideo = mediocre to bad.
Mirrorless vs. camcorder is model specific, hard to draw generalities.
Easycaps, HDMI adapters = bad; lack of TBC = bad.
Why is this so hard?
Rhetorical. It's not. You just want to make it hard, for whatever ulterior (and trollish) motive.Last edited by lordsmurf; 8th Oct 2021 at 12:29.
