I've removed it because it takes 100 MB disk space. In the latest staxrip build DGIndex is the default, you can change or reset this default in the settings under Preprocessing.

Thanks for the tool update list, I will take care of it now.

Thank you for this awesome app.

But I miss one function. I would like to enter fixed times when work is allowed. So for me that would only be at night. How can I do that? I've seen you can start and stop it, but I can't find anything in the settings that makes this time automatically each, it's mainly about saving electricity costs.

Would be great if someone could tell me how I can set this.

Ok there I am definitely too less versed.

I know how to create BAT files and execute them as a task, but I don't know what the commands should be. Can someone help me?

It's really only about stopping x265 each time, if the sound is done that's ok, that never takes long and much power but the 4K files do, so I want to stop this each time at 06.00 clock and start again at 21.00 clock.

Stopping x265 or putting the PC into standby mode?

There should be a CLI tool that can pause all threads in a given application, but it's more a hack than a real solution.

Actually, it is enough to pause you. Actually I would like to select only the Suspend function at 06.00 o'clock and at 21.00 o'clock again on Resume. So that he just works only at night. How that finally goes I do not care, as long as it works reliably

How must I now set the command line that this then also works as a task?

I provide only support for issues directly related to staxrip, please create a new thread 'How to pause x265 using windows task manager and pssuspend?'.

What I don't like about StaxRip, to many options.

Any denoiser recommendations? I would like to kill most of the noise, to get better compression. MCTemporalDenoiser looked good at first glance, but maybe someone knows better or faster one.

Hello everyone and best wishes for this new year.

I did a fresh install of Windows and the newest beta of staxrip (2.1.5.5). I noticed that it doesn't want to have administrative privileges anymore.
I wanted to encode an audio track with AAC, but staxrip says that Apple Quicktime is not installed...
The download buttton brings me to the MS Store and I should download the itunes app. But even after doing this, the needed dll is still not found.

I only installed the itunes app that was proposed, not the old QuickTime I can get from apple or videohelp...

Obviously nowhere. It is the first time for me that staxrip doesn't has an acc-encoder I guess and the itunes win10 app is not installing quicktime it seems.

    About

StaxRip is a video encoding GUI for Windows, it executes and controls console apps like x265, NVEnc, mkvmerge or ffmpeg and uses the scripting based frame servers AviSynth and VapourSynth for video processing.
