When they or IMDB or somebody else forces a commercial in first, it would be great to have that auto-detected and just tossed . . . but I don't think any of the other downloaders can discriminate in that way either, so I guess you just have to cast a wide net.

Probably this was answered before, but it would be nice to be able to specify a default download location that sticks. It seems that I have to reset this every time.

Can you specify the url please.
Check if you use a proxy or an environment variable "http_proxy" is defined while you're not using a proxy.
Removing the http_proxy environment variable may fix the problem.

If that is the feature film "The Crimes of Padre Amaro" I have heard of it. Might be available from Netflix or Amazon video if you are a subscriber to either; if not I may be able to locate some download source.

My problem is that in the playlist of 119 videos have deleted the 34 and the 82. TVdownloader download correctly until 33 and then it is canceled.

Can you add please batch download for multiple format?
Add adwanced option, in this option task.
Example task 1: Paste multiple YT urls, select destination folder, select quality and video format, and audio.
YT have H246 MP4 and VP8. Many TV and TV box do not have VP9 codecs.
Tas 2 download odher urls to other folder.

Best bach download for me in comand line is:
youtube-dl -c --title -f 22 --batch-file trawel.txt (inside file trawel.txt i have multiple urls)
Number 22 it is quality 1280 x 720 mp4 witch audio

Using comand exaple Youtube-dl-gui>youtube-dl -F https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9btIBTiWjc
i can see more options to download, witch 60 FPS

If i want to batch download 1280x720 i can use comand
youtube-dl -c --title -f 298+140 --batch-file trawel.txt (it is command to download mp4 witch h264 codec) Must select video and audio. Program will mux video and audio.
298 it is a video only
140 it is a audio

Any chance you could add Flosports.tv and their sub sites (particularly Flograppling.com) to the supported sites? This would be very helpful to me. I've tried many ways and haven't found any way to get videos from there downloaded for offline view.

Am a beginner but have been able to download PBS NOVA and other videos using youtube-dl-gui-0.4 port (need port because can not install apps on the Win7 PC that use to dl videos).

Am unable to dl "Apollo's Daring Mission" https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/video/apollos-daring-mission/ and do not know if it is me or the app that is causing this problem.

Just dl TVDownloader v1.18b and tried to dl "Apollo's Daring Mission" failure.
