It gets pixelated when a lot of things start moving in the video.
I can run AVI, and MP4 just about fine..What could be the problem?
I'm a complete newb btw.

	i'll assume you didn't create it. could be too low or too high a bitrate or just a bad video. hit the delete button. --

	Have you tried different video players like VLC Media Player?

	Start by telling us what you're using to play the MKVs (if a computer, list computer specs, not the computer's name, and include the OS). If you're on a computer, what software are you using to play the video? What codecs and splitters do you have installed, if you're not using a self-contained player like VLC to play the video)? 
 
 HD-format video can often require a LOT of computer power, so if you're using an older system, it might not have enough to play the video correctly.
 
 It also might help to see a MediaInfo (text-form) report on one of the MKVs you're trying to play.
 
 Edit: ...yeah, I know El Heggunte asked some similar questions... that's what I get for taking too long to type. If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
