It gets pixelated when a lot of things start moving in the video.
I can run AVI, and MP4 just about fine..What could be the problem?
I'm a complete newb btw.![]()

i'll assume you didn't create it. could be too low or too high a bitrate or just a bad video. hit the delete button.

Have you tried different video players like VLC Media Player?

Start by telling us what you're using to play the MKVs (if a computer, list computer specs, not the computer's name, and include the OS). If you're on a computer, what software are you using to play the video? What codecs and splitters do you have installed, if you're not using a self-contained player like VLC to play the video)?
HD-format video can often require a LOT of computer power, so if you're using an older system, it might not have enough to play the video correctly.
It also might help to see a MediaInfo (text-form) report on one of the MKVs you're trying to play.
Edit: ...yeah, I know El Heggunte asked some similar questions... that's what I get for taking too long to type.If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? -
