    Hey guys!

    I've been looking everywhere, but couldn't find anything so im begging for u to help. I would even pay for u guys . If anyone answers i'll love him forever.

    So my problem is that how could i open a MPEG-2 TS Video (.TS) file in Sony Vegas Pro 8.0. Coz only the sound would load in.

    HDTVtoMPEG2 will repackage your video and audio from a .ts container into an .mpg container which Vegas should be able to work with. No encoding will take place, so your video will retain its original quality.

    Thanks for the answer, but

    when i try to "Add" it in HDTVtoMPEG2, it says: "Couldn't find a channel"

  5. There might be something peculiar about your specific transport stream, because vegas and hdtvtompeg2 should be able open "ordinary" transport streams

    Try re-wrapping in tsmuxer into .m2ts , or try demuxing the elementary video with it

    Post the log from MediaInfo giving the details of this file which will help to determine the best program to sort your problem. As you have Vegas then the best strategy is to demux the TS file into elementary streams. As long as the video is not H264 then ProjectX in demux mode is the best way to go especially if you want to extract subtitles. A simpler progam to use would be MPEGStreamclip and you can either use it to demux or convert to MPEG2 PS format that Vegas will happily accept.

    That hints that your TS file has multiple video/audio tracks but may differ from normal Euro DVB multiplex. It works fine with USA ASTC.
