  1. I am trying to use Unlead DVD to burn movies to a dvd... but when i try to load the movie it says "...mpg is not DVD MPEG file. Please select a DVD compliant file." I have converted everything already using TMPEG but still it dosent work. Any have an idea why?

  3. I converted to an svcd .mpg with TMPG because if i convert to dvd it's breaks it up into 2 files.

    Well there is your problem DVD does not support the SVCD resolution. Why couldn't you lower the bitrate for DVD so it would fit on 1 disc ?.

    This link may help you to make a SVCD-DVD. But it may not work on your player.

    If you still have the original source video, I would reencode to something that is DVD compliant.

    The official (legal) resolutions for optical media are:

    720 X 576 (480 NTSC). Used by most DVD.
    704 X 576 (480 NTSC). Used by some DVD
    480 X 576 (480 NTSC). Used by SVCD
    352 X 576 (480 NTSC). Used by DVD and China Video Disc (CVD). It is also the "official" SVHS resolution.
    352 X 288 (240 NTSC). Used by VCD and DVD. It is also the "official" VHS resolution
