hi from new member, i just burned my first vcd using averdvd ezmaker, with neodvdstandard, ok, changed vhs to mpeg-1 file with no problem. when i tryed to make a vcd from mpeg-1 it burned with no problem. when i tryed to play it, i found out that it's 5 folders on the cdr. is this right they are file type DAT. is this the correct format for vcd's? if not how do i convert the dat or 5 folders to the correct format for vcd's? its this correct to assume that 5 folders on cd are video. thanks for any INPUT.

Yes you did everything correctly. If you look in the mpegav folder there will be a dat file for each video track you created. You can open these in windows media player if you wish or you can load the disk in a software or hardware vcd/dvd player.
