Sony DRU-500A & Ritek DVD-R media

for some reason my sony DRU wont recongize the ritek DVD-R media i bought (it reads maxell DVD-R fine, thats all i've been able to try). so far, i havent heard of a single person having problems with compatibility, i guess i'm the first. I updated to fireware 1.0d, does anyone have any suggestions to what i can do? i havent changed any of the settings, although i have installed quite a few DVD-burning problems, such as instantvob, nero, and recordnow. i'm all out of ideas any input would be appreciated

Thanks for the link! yah i'm going to order some ACCU to test and hopefully it works on my burner.

Does anyone else have a problem with the Ritek on the sony dru-500? or is it just me?
