I haven't seen any topics truly address this question. What's the easiest way, step by step using dvd decryptor and a burning program such as prassi or even something else to take a single sided dvd-9 that contains both the widescreen and fullscreen version of a film and rip the movie and extras and just leave out one version of the film(i.e. fullscreen). I've noticed that a lot of movies have been coming out where one side of a double sided disc will have the 2 versions of a film(ws & fs) and the other side will have the extras. Please advise. Thank you.

I want to keep the menus and everything else to these films. The actual film itself is under the limit, nothing would need to be re-encoded. Can I just use IFOedit and if so, what do I need to do to ensure that it'll work.

I had a similar problem with "Go" region 1 DVD.
Basically I opened up TMpgEnc and used it to create a few seconds of blank DVD compatible MPEG2 video at a rate of like 1Kb/s. I then used this blank video in IfoEdit. I remuxed the blank video for the FF version of the movie and all the deleted scenes while simutaneously stripping out the audios from said titlesets. Leaving the WS version of the movie and the musics video unchanged. All the menus worked perfectly. If someone chooses the FF or deleted scenes it just plays blank video for however long that title is.
Depending on how the movie is authored you can use this technique. This mainly requires that the features you want to keep and the features you want to remove are in different titles.
Hope this helps.
Send me a message if you need anymore pointers or have problems.
