Dual Sided DVD's

I am considering getting a Single Sided DVD Burner. But what i want to know is, can I burn Dual sided DVD's in it? Any info would be helpful in this matter. I assume I am going to have to make two seperate files to burn on one disc. yea? I guess I just really want to know if its worth it to burn on Dual sided discs?

I've thought about this one myself.

Yes you can write double sided disks, just trat each side like a single sided. but .....

ds dvds are more than twice as expensive as single sided
there's nowhere to label them.
