  1. I am trying to use DVD2AVI to get the AVI file for SVCD encoding in TMPGEnc. It loads the movie VOB file, but makes the avi file in about 10 minutes...

I just used it to get the avi file for a 90 minute movie and it took 40 minutes... The movie I am trying to do now is BEHIND ENEMY LINES....

Is there something out there to get around the DTS???

    Thanks for your time...

Sorry if this has been covered before.I did a search and came up with something but I do not understand the post?

I do not recommend to save the avi, just save the project and frameserve to your favorite encoder.
SVCD does not support DTS audio.
DVD2AVI 1.77.x support DTS demultiplex. If you want to create a DVD and if you have an authoring tool, that support DTS audio, you can use that option.
