  1. i rip 51st state film with smart ripper, use dvd2avi then tmpgenc. I load source video file ok. then i try to load audio file by opening state_AC3 T01 2_0ch 224Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3 or other audio, but i get the mouse hour glass appear and the program hangs, other times i get a message saying something like unsupported file type or audio error of some kind. I've tried other films like dinosaur and that worked fine, but after testing it again that also didn't want to load the audio file. What is happening? It's driving me mad trying to get this to work.

  2. Download BeSweet and BeSweetGUI and make it a .wav or sumthin..
    You could also let DVD2SVCD to it for your or so...

  3. kfarrow, first of all, i'm guessing you didn't try to test the audio file on media player first?

    anywayz, in dvd2avi under audio dropdown menu, goto channel format and choose "auto select", then under dolby digital choose "decode" and try again

    the audio file should be in .wav that can be played in mplayer, this should also work in tmpgenc

  7. ok...under audio...

    make sure you have

    channel format -> auto select
    dolby digital -> decode
    mpeg audio -> demux

    as for track, usually try track 1 first, if you get no .wav file, then try track 2...so on, until u can get a .wav file (you can use the preview f5 to make sure that the track u have selected can be extracted to .wav..just look in the audio info in the info box that pops up when u preview)

    but make sure you play the .wav file in mplayer b4 u encode to make sure it's the language u want
