Cut/Copy .mp4 video losslessly to .ts container

I want to cut out songs from DRM-removed itune movies and store them losslessly in copy mode to .ts files. the Media info output of the original file after removing drm is:

LongDescription : Prince Asoka (Shahrukh Khan), heir to the Magadha Kingdom, bowing to his mother's (Shilpa Mehta) demand forsakes his princely status and goes to live in the wild for awhile. There he meets and falls in love with Kaurwaki (Kareena Kapoor). He identifies himself as Pawan, not wanting to disclose his identity yet. asoka has to return to Magadha, but when he returns to find and wed Kaurwaki, he is told by Bheema (Rahul Dev) that Kaurwaki and her brother Arya have been killed. Devastated asoka returns home. On the way home he is attacked and Devi (Hrishitaa Bhatt), of the Buddhist faith rescues him and tends to him till he gets well. As a result, Devi's marriage to her groom is cancelled. asoka weds her and brings her to Magadha, only to be told by his father that since Devi is not of the same race as he, she cannot be welcomed. asoka leaves with Devi and lives in Ujjaini. Soon Devi gets pregnant, and this arouses jealously and hatred amongst asoka's step-brothers. As a result they plot to kill Devi, however, their plans are foiled by asoka's mother, who is killed. Asoka swears to avenge his mother's death by killing his step-brothers one by one, except for one, who has led to Kalinga. asoka asks the ruler of Kalings to turn over his step-brother to him, and they refuse. asoka swears to raze Kalinga to the ground. asoka is unstoppable. Even his close friend, Virat (Danny Denzongpa), too, is unable to stop asoka. asoka proceeds to war, little knowing that the queen of Kalinga is none other than Kaurwaki, who is still alive.

The problem is when i use Avidemux directly with this file output from drm remover software, it simply hangs so i need to copy(NOT re-encode)the original .mp4 file. to .ts format before using Avidemux for cutting the video.
Using ffmpeg in the following manner seems to convert the video and increase the bitrate as well: ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -vcodec copy -acodec copy -f mpegts output.ts.

I also tried ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -c copy -bsf h264_mp4toannexb output.ts. wththe same result

Can somebody suggest me how to losslessly change .mp4 to .ts so that i can use Avidemux for cutting .ts files in copy mode. Also if somebody can suggest a better video cutter for .ts files in copy mode( NO Re-Encoding required)

Transport streams naturally have more overhead than mp4 or mkv. There isn't really any way around the resulting bitrate increase.

Do you have any reason for choosing TS other than AviDemux hanging? You could try to report the problem to the AviDemux people. Or cut the mp4 with ffmpeg, or SolveigMM Video Splitter or VideoReDo.

Hi sneaker, i want to keep all the output files in .ts form only as the bulk of the movies from streaming services are in .ts form. i use .m2ts for my bluray rips and .ts for streaming rips for my convenience.. Since the apple itunes movies can ONLY be converted to .mp4 losslessly during drm removal stage, i have to convert all the itunes movies from .mp4 to .ts so that my collection consists only of .ts files for convenience.
