    MP4tools

Convert from a variety of video file formats like MKV, MP4, OGM and AVI into MP4 videos.
Can convert most videos without having to re-encode the video track and/or the audio track, so processing takes minutes instead of hours and no quality is lost.

Or else use mp4box, ffmpeg to mux your h264 and ac3 files. Command line tools but several examples online if you search.

MP4Tools requires at least OS X 10.7 and a 64-bit Intel Mac, which the OP doesn't have (he's using OS X 10.4.11 on a PowerPC Mac), unfortunately. I couldn't tell you whether or not there are any PPC builds of mp4box around, offhand.

transporterfan: remux reportedly requires at least OS X 10.5, so the OP can't use it.

    Then ffmpeg...

but it's even hard find a ffmpeg build for OSX 10.4.11 PPC.

But the command line code looks like

    Code:
    ffmpeg -i video.h264 -i audio.ac3 -vcodec copy -acodec copy newvideo.mp4

Thought so. That's why I said 'maybe'. I'm not overly familiar with Macs.

but it's even hard find a ffmpeg build for OSX 10.4.11 PPC.
Or anything else. All the important apps are Windows based.

There wasn't as much of a problem finding a PPC build of ffmpeg while Apple was still using PPC Macs. Now that they've switched to Intel...

major's ffmpegx might work, if he still has PPC-compatible builds available. Or perhaps, if it includes ffmpeg inside the app, that could possibly be used separately.
