    hi
    i have 2 questions

    my first question is :
    1)
i have bought motionarray transition pack , there are lots of mov files inside and a mp4 tutorial video file (i can play it)
but i can't import these mov files inside premiere cc 2017 & 2015 , i can't even open with avidemux 64bit last version
my operation system is windows 10 pro 64bit
i tried to rename these mov files to avi or mp4 without luck

i used mediainfo to check these files and i get this
    Code:

  2. Do you have the QuickTime codec installed on your pc? Have you managed to play these files outside of premier using QuickTime?

  3. 2 question: you might be able to get some free presets off VideoHive.com, there will be other that will charge a small fee, big time saver if you are under a deadline and there will be lots of options and styles for you to choose from [emoji106]

    hi
yes i have , maybe it's outdated , does quicktime alternative work too

  5. I would install QuickTime for sure, your on Premier CC so that's fairly new. You wouldnt have to purchase QuickTime Pro for this to work as it's only a MPEG 4 file which is native to QuickTime. Hope that works for you.

  6. Assuming you are on a PC, not Mac,
Scroll down in this link (http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/how_to/QuickTime-Support-and-Security-on-Windows) to the section titled "Temporary solution." You want to install Quicktime Essentials but not the player.

It's for Avid, but applies to Premiere as well.

  9. Did you open the included project in PP or just the individual mov files?
    There are internal dependencies.

  10. Did you try "regular" quicktime install? Including the player ?

Alternatively, you can convert to another compatible format

Windows; I have QT Pro installed, but you shouldn't need the pro version

QT comes with all the necessary codecs . When you use purchase transitions, alpha mattes, etc... the most common distribution format is animation codec in MOV , the 2nd most common is PNG in MOV (that is what you have there)

QT is officially discontinued on windows (supposedly a security risk), but many people still use it .

What happens if you just double-click the .prproj file?

win10 does more "security" things , since QT is officially discontinued that's probably why . I don't have any machines with win10 yet, but there might be some workaround the QT issue you'd have to use google and search

Or you can re-encode to a compatible format, but probably smarter/easier to use w7/8

    hi

It's possible with ffmpeg batch, or some gui for ffmpeg like ffqueue

A suitable replacement format would be UT Video Codec, with RGBA for alpha mattes (or just RGB for luma mattes)

Or you can try searching for workarounds for QT/ Win10

(I don't know if these work, use at your own risk, but the official microsoft reply looks promising)

    Hi Pal
    thanks a lot
seems that the last tips works but it's insane i have to install AppleApplicationSupport.msi & AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi and run AppleSoftwareUpdate and install quicktime
hope the new w10 update won't mess up it

    and
It's possible with ffmpeg batch, or some gui for ffmpeg like ffqueue
it doesn't complete the job , it finished always with an error
may i ask you a question ? what operation system do you run?
thanks a lot !! really appreciate your help

  19. I think you have to setup the preset in ffqueue . Or maybe tencoder . They might have presets already

or just use a batch file

    0) you need to install "ut video codec" in order to use it in Adobe

    1) open a file in notepad in the same folder of MOV files to be converted (for now, just test 1 or 2 at first) , copy and paste the following, save it, rename extension from .txt to .bat . e.g. "batch.txt" becomes "batch.bat"

    Code:
    for %%a in ("*.mov") do ffmpeg -i "%%a" -c:v utvideo -pix_fmt rgba -an "%%~na.avi"
    pause
    2) place a copy of ffmpeg.exe into the folder

    3) double click the batch file

I've done the same thing...it works fine on windows10 (trial version premiere 2017) without any 3rd party codec packs, its weird that it says "png" in the mediainfo report. If you use motionarray there's free presets for premiere titles and transitions...which leads me to ask... did you "bought it"? If you did talk to the support...
I love it when a plan comes together!

  21. I had no problem with the packages, provided I opened the project file they came with. The .png codec files appear to be graphics that are dependent on functions within Premiere.

Rama, I asked earlier if you tried to open the project files and you never responded.

install AppleApplicationSupport.msi & AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi and run AppleSoftwareUpdate and install quicktime
