  1. hi!

    I'm trying to import a mpeg in premiere. I had no error message on importing but I have a white screen on timeline and it has no sound. If I press play it plays also as a white no sound screen.
    anyone could help?

    Are you sure it isn't 1min+8sec of properly-encoded white silence?

    Premiere should have NO trouble with standard MPEG2 streams.

  3. I'm pretty sure, I have played the video in vlc player and it plays ok

    Try remux the mpg. Open it in avidemux, under video and audio choose copy. Under format choose mpeg-ps. Save as a new video.mpg. Then try open the mpg in Premiere.

  5. And if avidemux doesn't work, you can try tsmuxer to re-wrap into a transport stream. But premiere should import mpeg-ps natively
