  1. i've tried riva flv converter which does not accept the file and winff which says unsupported file type, it plays very jumpy in an flv player as my pc is old and does not handel hd movies, any help would be much appreciated. Jake

    It might be a good idea to run the video through MediaInfo (in Tree View) and see what it says about the file.

    The FLV is probably actually h.264-encoded (an .mp4 in disguise). Try changing the extension to .mp4, and see if it plays correctly in your usual player(s) - and if WinFF accepts it.
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

    I just started using Allok Video Editor to convert flv to xvid or divx and it works really good. Simple GUI.
