    Hi all
I thought to convert all flv files to avi and them take advantage of Divx converter
menu to make one big file with chapters to play on Tv.
I do not have a digital tv so it would have to be 4:3 for now
My question is flv vary in size but on average they are 320*240 or 288.
I may have to increase size of the screen to be able to watch it on TV.
What would be the right avi size taking into account flv are poor resolution.
Any changes in bitrates. Appreciate your comments. Thanks.

I think I would keep them as 320x240 and let the dvd player upresize. And I would use pretty high bitrate so you wont lose too much quality, around 500kbit/s(it depends how many video you want per disc).

    Thank you Baldrick
I suppose I want as many videos converted as avi or divx as possible that can fit into one DVD.
Divx bundle has a cool menu option for joined files so I thought to take advantage of this though I do not know its limitations regarding size
