Hi, I'm new at this so bare with me please

Thanks for your help in advance.

I used ConvertXtoDVD to convert a bunch of AVI files to DVD format.

The conversion worked, and although the quality wasn't great, looks ok...however, there is major audio lag of about 2seconds when I watch the DVD.

Why is this?? How can I fix it? Did I do something wrong?

    Thanks

That can happen for many reasons. Most likely, the audio is encoded with variable bitrate settings. Another reason could be bad frames in the video.

The easiest thing to try would be to run your AVIs through DivFix++ http://divfixpp.sourceforge.net/

see if the fixed avis are still in sync after Divfix++, then try encoding the fixed files through ConvertX

Make sure you're running the latest version of ConvertXtoDVD. Also, check their forum.

Does divfixpp also fix errors, or just detect if your avi file has errors?

    Thanks

Fixes minor problems. Larger errors are better fixed by slicing the video into smaller parts, then working on each segment.
