I want to burn a divx file (Aprox. 450mb) on to a CD (not a DVD), so that I can play it on my DVD player which says it can play Divx. Do I just burn the CD as a data CD, with the Divx file in it, or should I do something else?

You can also burn (save as data) numerous divx files on a regular dvd blank disc that your player will work with.

What you get onscreen is a list type menu of the filenames you can select to play. It will also automatically start playing the next file when one completes.
Whatever doesn't kill me, merely ticks me off. (Never again a Sony consumer.)
