Hello, here's what I'm trying to do. I need to take 11 separate DVD files and join them into 1 file. Then I have another DVD file that I also have and burn the 2 files to DVD. Both files must play then stop separately, without the 1st playing into the 2nd. My wife has a project from her boss. What he wants is 2 video files that play separately on a standalone DVD player for a presentation.
I've used MPEGVCR to join the 11 separate files into 1, which worked. The quality isn't that great, but it's smooth. Now I have to find a way to burn that file AND a 2nd DVD file onto 1 disc. He wants to be able to use the remote to play the 1st file, stop where he wants, then play the 2nd file at will. Lotta info here to take in.
I have tools like DVD Shrink, IMG Burn, DVD Decrypter, FixVTS, AutoGK, AVISynth, Nero 5.5, VOB2MPG, BurnatOnce, MPEG Video Wizard (Trial), VobSub, MPEG-VCR, VirtualDubMod, TMPGEnc 2.5 freeware, and various codecs. By the way, does anyone know of a DVD codec for Windows Media Player 11? Any help is appreciated.

Use a dvd authoring program and make 2 titles from the files, for example tda or free tools like guifordvdauthor, dvdstyler.

If you used MPGVCR correctly, the quality should be the same as the source. If the source is good, and the output is lower in quality, you have done something wrong.

    Of course, if the source is crap . . . . . . . .
