I have limited desk and room space. I would like to know if there is a switch or something that I could use to have one monitor for two computers.

I could have one converting, etc., while the other could be used to do labels, e-mail. etc.
This would be a time and space saver.

    any info would be apreciated.

Here is how I do it....
    1. Get a LCD Monitor with analog and DVI inputs
    2. Connect 1 pc to the analog input and another to the DVI input. At least, one PC must have a DVI output videocard.
If one pc is ON at a time, the LCD monitor can auto detect. However, if both PCs are ON, then you have to manually select the in the input source in the LCD monitor setting.

That takes care of the video, but you will still need to deal with the keyboards and mice

I've used a KVM switch (automatic) with wired keyboard & mouse.

The one I have now has single monitor, but wireless KB & mouse thru one USB connection.

The only hassle is if XP forgets what is attached, and I have to go into control panel and do an uninstall/refresh if I get into too big of a hurry when booting.

Other than that, if it loads the drivers, it's nice.

I likely picked it up online at geeks.com or similar
