I turned the parental control off and restart the machine but still can't see the movies!!

There's only sound. I tried several DVDs (some of them original and others I burned), they were all with picture except two DVDs!!

    Any ideas?

  2. Maybe you need to open it up and blow out the dust on and around the laser. I had to do that cause I just had the same issue with my sons ps2. Good luck..

I burned 6 DVDs by the same program. Some of them are R rated. When I play them on a dvd player or on my PC, everything is fine, but with PS2 two burned DVDs have only sound NO picture!!

    I want to know.. why?

Thanx guys for trying to help.

I know dvdguy4.. sometimes a simple thing could be the problem.

But now I know what the problem is.

It's the dvd brand!! Yes.. because as I mentioned I burned many DVDs by the same program and with the same speed, but they are different brands. Sony and memorex are played without any problem, but Roco DVDs will play with sound only.

    BTW.. they're all DVD+R.

I tried all of them in LG dvd player and everything was great!!

I hope you get some experience from this. Take care.
