I need some advice & input as to why I may be having many play back issues with my Ridata G05 printable -/+Rdiscs after I burn.

I am using a Liteon DVD Burner & although the discs are 8x... I burn @ 6x just to be on the safe side. I then go to play back the recording & I get skipping, pixelation, freezing or just disc errors on my Standalone players.

What can I do to better assure that I am getting a good burn to the disc that will allow flawless playback the majority of the time.

Also is it possible that my DVD burner is crapping out & needs replaced? Any and all help is much appreciated. Thanks all.

Most are going to say it is the media. Ritek were once considered the bee knees when it came to media. Now, most around here won't touch them. TY discs seem to be the flavour of the moment.

FWIW, I use Ritek G05 printables without any problems. I burn at 4x because that's all my 2500a is capable of.

Read http://www.nomorecoasters.com and always check your burns. I use DVD Info Pro to test mine before I play them back.

Look at the menu to your left - DVD Media. You can search by code and see what users here are saying about any given media.
