    Hey everyone,

I've searched the net for what I need, and indeed I thought I'd found it a couple of times, but with no avail. I was wondering if you guys could help, and this is probably relatively simple but, how the hell do you set DVD Rebuilder 1.1 Pro with CCE SP 2.7 to output to 4,400mb size? I've changed about TargetSector values etc. but it's always either too big or too small... I've even taken the percentage size change I need, divided the current TargetSectors value by 100 and multiplying it by the other value and using the result, but the change is always way off... I just want it to output to around 4,400mb every time.

    Regards,
    KD.

  2. The author has stated that it is impossible for DVD-RB to output to an exact size. The default size leaves some room for error. If you want to max out a DVD you should use 2260000 sectors, but it will never be exact.

Ok, I'd thought as much but was hoping otherwise. Well, the program is fairly accurate. I've done a few DVD's in experimentation and the output dosn't usually change by more than 0.05GB. Can anyone tell me what to set it to so that I get an output say around 4380MB allowing that it may go 20mb in either direction?

  4. Use this formula, courtesy of wmansir on Doom9:

Default Sectors (2236400)/ Default size (4.32GB) X Target Size(in GB) = Target Sectors
or, to simplify, 517685 x Target Size in GB = Target Sectors

    ...

    4380 MB = 4.277 GB.

This gives the result of 2214140 sectors.
