    Hi,

During the last year till now I used DVD Rebuilder pro with CCE-SP2 Trial version 2.70 Ver 1.00.00.11, but now I changed my hardware PC (new motherboard and Q6600 processor) and I installed everything again.

I don't know if i forgot how to install it, but I got this error when I want to encode the dvd: Is not a ECL for CCE SP Trial Version.

    This is my Rebuilder.ini

    Greets,

You could try un-installing them both then re-install CCE before DVD-RB again. Just to see if DVD-RB makes the correct setup linking. I remember seeing a problem like yours asked / answered before. Just cannot recall the remedy.

I have not used the CCE SP2 release. Frankly I have not used CCE since HCenc offered better SMP support with ver .022. In fact I would suggest you do give HCenc a try. You may become like I have and prefer it to CCE. It loves my Q6600, hope you enjoy yours as well. I feel HCenc is every bit on par with CCE in quality in addition to being faster. Even believe there may be a .023 out recently. I have not messed with it much since I started playing with x264 the last month or so.

Also, you may wish to try seeking your answer in the Doom9.org forum site. There is a subforum just for DVD-RB and the author jdobbs is quite responsive to answering questions. I suggest a search of that site first. The locals can take unkindly to questions that have been asked and answered a few times already. Good luck.

On second thought... if you are using the same v2.70 Basic that I bought for about $40 (?) years ago - that is not SP2. I think the new SP2 start out at v1.x whatever. In that case you want to have DVD-RB set to SP Basic, SP Trial, SP... one of those. Sorry, I do not have CCE installed since my last reformat. You may be getting your SP version names mixed up - an easy thing to do.

    Cheers,
    Rick
Rene: Could you not just wound him a little bit?
Hans: Well now, with a 25 pound shell that is not easy.

    'Allo 'Allo

    Thanks a lot for answering.
You gave me a clue. I have both CCEs in my computer, the 2.70 and the SP2, and I made a silly mistake mixing up the selection in the settings.

Now I have selected use CCE SP2Trial (Beta test) and it worked.

I´m thinking of giving HCenc a try. Thank you. I'll have though to get some information about this program before. How does it work etc.
