  1. I want to delete certain subtitles in a subtitle stream that I consider unnecessary. How can I do this most easily?
I read different guides to demux and remux dvds. And of course some regarding the changing of subtitles. But the more I read the more I got confused.
Isn't there a simple way to just cut off some titles without creating a totally new subtitle stream?

No simple way/tool (yet), you must rip to text and then convert back to dvd subtitles images.

  3. How could I do this most easily? Or which guide here would be most appropriate for this? As I said I'm quite confused at the moment (information overload, probably... ).

  4. OK, but when I imported the subtitle stream in SubRip, can I just delete the titles I consider unnecessary and export the file, or do I have to be aware of anything else? And which format am I supposed to export to?

As far as I understood the following process, I have to use DVD-lab PRO (for instance) to remux the whole thing. But when I import the subtitle stream, the programm creates a totally new one. The content is correct but font, size, color, position and so on is different to the original stream. Is there a way to preserve the original format. Again, isn't it possible, since subtitle streams consist of different pictures, to just cut some of those pictures out and save it again? I would like to preserve as much of the original as possible.

A lot of questions, I know. Sorry for that and thanks for the help so far.
