can you play a sound when a button is selected in the menu?

I cant really see too much there?
does that mean I would create a clone menu but with the sound I wanted in the in the cloned menu and at the end of the menu it goes directly to the selected movie?........I make no sense I'll keep browsing the forums

DVD menus aren't like web pages or computer programs (OK, they are like computer programs, but really simple ones). You can't just do a mouse click type event in them, The spec doesn't allow for it. If you sit down and really watch commercial disks, you will see that they don't really do it, either. What you have to do is create either a new menu page, or a small video clip, that plays when you select an option. It is the only way it can be done, whether you like it or not.
