    I have a new Pinnacle PCTV Studio Rave... and audio is fed out of the card into the sound card by an external audio cable.

    My question... I am using VirtualDub - but when capturing the sound is taken from the 'MICROPHONE' not the 'LINE IN' which the TV Card sound is going into... (though the Preview window is fine)... how do I make VirtualDub use the 'Line In' not the 'Microphone' audio feed?

    Open up the windows audio contols (double click the little speaker in the taskbar). Go to the advanced properties (under the menu) and select recording. Make sure your line-in is selected (check box under it ticked).
