Whenever I encode an avi as an mpg2 for dvd, create a dvd menu for it in tmpgenc dvd author, and then burn the dvd video files with nero, the dvd video will become poppier and poppier in quality as the dvd gets to the end. So bad that in the last 5 minutes of the video, the dvd player will often times have to reset it's marker, causing the screen to go black until the video reappears and the dvd player has regained it's correct position. Before it gets to that point though, the DVD will occasionally have a frame or two of blocky video with an audio skip, and it will become a4 frames rather than one, then 3 block of nine frames in a row that will be ugly, until it reaches the point I described above. This also happened to dvd video files when I would use DVD Shrink to shrink them down to about 75% or less. The beginning would look great, but the end would be so choppy I could no watch it.
Are there any tricks to correcting this?
