    When I use TMPGEnc to change the ripped dvd to a .mpg my memory goes the whole way down, and I can't finish it. I don't get it cause I have 392 MB of RAM, is that not enough.

    What are the steps you are using? Are you using DVD2AVI first? If not, run your VOBS through DVD2AVi and THEN run the files created through TMPGenc. There is a handy dandy how to right here on this website....

    Yes I used that, but my computer just locked up when i did that.
