I am trying to capture DV video from my Sony DV Cam via Firewire and I don't get any sound at all, neither while I'm capturing nor when I watch the video afterwards. The picture is fine..just having a really tough time with getting any sound..
Any ideas?

Open your Master Voume interface on your computer, and see if any levels are turned too far down or muted.
Hello. -
I have found that if I capture using DVIO I don't get sound unless I start the camera BEFORE the DVIO. This may solve your problem.
