    The video clips were captured from a DV by the Windows Movie Maker. But, there was no sound after the video clips captured. Do you know what problems look like? I would like to capture the video and sound from the DV.

    Hello coody;

    Only a guess, but do you have the audio muted on either your source or in Windows Movie Maker ?

    This is taken from the help section of WMM.

    If you move the slider all the way to the Audio/Music track, the audio from the video clip may be played for two seconds or so when the project is previewed in Windows Movie Maker. However, in your final saved movie, the audio will play back as intended where the audio from the video clip is muted.

    As I previously stated, only a guess.

    No, I did not check the option of Mute Speaker. I use the DV 4 pins cable to connect my PC instead of the USB. Is it the correct connection or I must use the USB to connect the PC? By the way, Is the DV 4 pins cable same as the i.LINK cable. My DV is Sony.

    As far as I know, it makes no difference as to whether you use IEEE (4 pin) or USB to connect to your computer except that your particular model camera may have different audio out settings for IEEE and USB.
    Your manual will explain how to check that.

    Windows movie Maker should recognize the output from your camera regardless of which method (IEEE or USB) you choose for transfer.
    Be sure to check the audio settings in WMM (Tools/Audio Levels) and set as necessary.
