I captured some 720p hd content from pentagon hd. When the camera pans it is jumpy/jerky or if the ppl move same reaction (almost reminds me of old cartoon books flickering when u turn the pages). What causes this & is there anything to smooth it out?

So how do you get the TS file to the computer?

Run the TS file through Medainfo to find bitrate and other codec info.

Explain how you are playing the TS file. Try VLC and/or MPCHC.

Your 9500GT will offer decode assist for HD h.264 if you update driver and configue DVXA.

use mediainfo (view=>text) on the 720p file

copy & paste back the results

Does the 720p file look different than what you say on TV when you were recording it ?

ie. Was this a transmission problem (maybe they sent it that way) , a recording problem (maybe you recorded 720p30 instead of 720p60), or a playback problem ?Last edited by poisondeathray; 17th Aug 2011 at 21:49.
